The Candy Kinsey Method is a Pilates-based fitness methodology that is rooted in in Candy’s decades of studies in Pilates and associated anatomy.

Whether or not we are aware of it, our stories are written in our bodies. How the body is held - or isn’t - over time creates a narrative that can be both felt and seen. For better or for worse.

The Candy Kinsey Method teaches consciousness of the body, so that clients are empowered to write their stories how they want them to be written.

Phase I: Education

Upon an initial session with Candy Kinsey, and for many thereafter, clients can expect to learn the proper way to hold the body: which muscles to engage, and how.

Candy’s goal is that her method will be made directly available to clients in a way they can easily understand. “Calories In and Calories Out” can certainly change the size of the body. But what about the shape? Failing to understand can create shapes in our bodies that we never intended to create - not to mention possible pain and performance issues.

The Candy Kinsey Method creates change in the body via corrective movement, and the first step? Teaching clients how.


Phase II: Activation

Once clients know the proper way to engage, they are then able to carry out that movement in the Activation phase.

An important part of The Candy Kinsey Method is the repeated engagement of the muscular structure in the proper fashion. Workouts with Candy strengthen muscle groups in the correct way, reinforcing the body’s structure, minimizing pain, and maximizing performance. Basic movements are suddenly transformed. Once the body is properly activated, clients can expect to feel a difference in everything that they do. And they will feel that difference from the very beginning.

Phase III: Integration

Taking the basic concepts from The Candy Kinsey Method and applying them in everyday life will supercharge your fitness routine.

A movement that might have been a painful chore in the past will become another opportunity to strengthen and tone the body. Going up stairs shouldn’t hurt our knees, it should tone our bottoms! The knowledge gained when clients learn Candy’s Method does not stop at the gym. It renovates every movement they perform, from the ground up.


Phase IV: Dedication
